Brennan
Brennan has been having a blast. Yesterday he painted a box for Santa to leave him a present in. (We had to help Santa, after all that's alot of wrapping for all the children in the world.) Tuesday he played in a big bowl of salt. Who knew salt could be so much fun. He played for over an hour. He amazes me, I love his imagination and the things he comes up with. He is so much like me it's funny. Strong willed and stubborn, but such a sweatheart. We tend to butt heads at times but I tell myself, he is me made over. What a little blessing!

One more picture!
CALEB'S CLUBHOUSE
Caleb has discovered the kitchen cabinets at our new house. As you can see there really isn't anything he can get hurt on. So I let him play. He thinks it is his personal clubhouse. Maybe it's the idea that it is actually on his level. I will need to get cabinet locks of some kind in the future. But for now, he can play. Isn't he the cutest.
Maybe I will be out the bungee cords!!!! lol.....

The seasons best
I hope you don't mind me hijacking my wife's plog for a bit. But I wanted this morning to share a few words. Last night my family had our Chirstmas, beings that my Dad has lung cancer we wanted to have it early before his next chemotherapy treatment. Caleb had his first taste of a chocolate chip cookie, Brennan ran around with his cousins, and I kept looking at my Dad. We didn't have alot of presents, but we did have the most important thing...family. It's amazing how fast time really goes, and how little of it we really remember. The older I get the more aparent what life is all about becomes. It's not about stuff or even education..but to treasure the ones you love. Don't wait to say I Love you, for everyone may not have tomorrow. Never keep forgiveness in the back of your mind, it belongs always ready...in your heart. I wish you all the seasons best..and a place filled with the ones you love.

Checking out the Christmas Tree.....
Brennan helped me decorate the Christmas tree, and once decorated he turned to me with a happy look and said where are the presents!!!! I laughed and told him that they will be here in a couple of weeks. Now Caleb on the other hand did'nt pay much attention to the tree until today. He used to crawl past it and just look. Today he decided to touch it.
Fixing your wagon
So, we have moved in the last couple of weeks and I have a funny Brennan story to share:
But to begin this story we have to go back to bedtime. We were putting the boys to bed and they share a room. Well this particular night Brennan was not in the mood to go to bed. He kept turning on his bedroom light. Jimmy would go back in there each time and turn off the light. Well, eventually this got old and Caleb was having a blast, giggling and laughing. He thought all of this was simply hilarious. So Jimmy went in the room and told Brennan he was going to fix his wagon and unscrewed the lightbulb. Brennan shouted out, DADDY DON'T FIX MY WAGON ANYMORE........
So this brings us to the cute part. My friend and I were trying to move some stuff to the new place. We have a minivan and the kids were sitting in the captains chairs which allowed room in the middle of them to put stuff. Or so I thought. I have a tall lamp and was trying to figure out how to get it to fit in the van. My friend Erin suggested that we lay the lamp straight in and lay it down between the boys on the floor. Needless to say, I no more than got the lampshade part of the lamp up by Brennan, in the prosess of trying to put it on the floor when he grabbed ahold of it. I started pulling back on it, trying to get it away from him. I said, Brennan please let go. He replied- BUT MOM! I'M TRYING TO FIX YOUR WAGON!!!!!! My lamp no longer turns on the same way. He cracked me up, so now when I turn the lamp on and it no longer twists, but does a full circle. I get a chuckle......
